It was pretty good & the lunch menu was solid. I will be back. I chose here to go to have a lunch date with hubby, but he had a meeting. But, I still came & thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Great prices. Lunch time price is around $12 and the food is amazing. They have this wonderful salad with different cuts of fish, wow! Restaurant-type atmosphere with buffet pricing. What's not to like.

This is it! Best Asian, freshest , clean and great assortment of seafood, sushi, hibachi etc.

I had been looking for a place like this and when I found it, it meet all expectations. Good variety, good quality and a great price for it. Large sushi station with 5 variety of sashimi. Oysters, grab legs, hibachi, tempora, soups, dessert. If I could, I would eat here 3 times a week. P.s the pounds on you will pack on fast hahaha, it already happened to me.

This place is an absolute dream come true. This is a high quality all you can eat buffet. It’s not often you can enjoy every single dish at a buffet. I recommend going there at the beginning of the day when all the food is freshly set out! I arrived at 11:30am sharp for the opening of the doors and it was a smorgasbord! The chefs will even make you a roll if you request one! The soups were divine! The sushi rolls and nigiri were so fresh! They have a nice desert bar also if you have room left! Complete with crisp fruit slices, chocolate pudding and ice cream! Assortment of pastries and the like. They have a hibachi grill in back for hot food if you don’t prefer raw foods! Additionally they have stir frys on the back line of all sorts. Truly something for everyone!

Excellent service. Our waitress was very attentive and would pass by our table often. The food was very fresh. Dinner was a bit expensive but it was worth it.

My husband & I always went for dinner buffet at Boca Raton location. We decide to try out Miami location since we moved to South Miami. The location is in very good area. The food option is not as much as Boca Raton. Customer service & server was on point. The restaurant was very clean & food was fresh.

Great! Definitely cheaper for lunch so come then but a great deal even at $25 for the late night menu. The grill items are amazing and sushi is actually really great. Crab legs and shrimp for days!

This is a great quality buffet. The food is freshly made. They have snow crab legs, for dinner and great sushi. They also have deserts and ice cream.Highly recommended.

Great variety of sushi. Sashimi and rolls tasted good and fresh. Going on a weekday was a good idea since it’s usually less busy. Will come back.

Great place. Lots of sushi variety. It's fresh and tasty. There aren't many options for hot food. Mushrooms are delicious. Service is nice. I normally go to a different buffet, I decided to try this one. It was a bit more expensive, as I love sushi for me it was great. Desserts are nice too. They have at least six ice cream flavours, cakes and more. There is a salad bar as well. All in all a good experience.

Just to be very clear: I only come here when I'm craving massive amounts of sushi and don't want to strain myself to choose one or two rolls in a better quality restaurant. With that said, Shinju's lunch buffet for $11.95 is a pretty wonderful deal in that they do have a large selection of sushi (including cooked rolls and traditional ones like nigiri). I try to stick to the sushi and their seafood salads, only occasionally going to their stir fry station which is decent. I all together avoid the hot foods section but do always end my meal with some green tea/red bean ice cream! I've never been to their dinner which I think is around $20 and includes other items like crab legs in the raw bar. Overall, worth it for a lunch when you're in the mood for a buffet! Best buffet I have ever gone to in my life, hands down! I was greeted super well by the waitresses and the cooks, everyone is so friendly and kind! It’s very popular among groups of people and family. Great place to hang out or enjoy an amazing evening! I really love the quality of the food! Very light, clean, and delicious! I especially love the sushi!! I really enjoy how everyone communes together, it’s really quite nice. I’m from Colorado and came to Miami to spend New Year’s Eve, and boy I’m glad I ate here, I was even sick to my stomach and didn’t wanna eat today because who knows why, and I ate here and it went away! I’m satisfied, exceeded my expectations! Decor and building is very beautiful, has an amazing atmosphere and aesthetic!! Can’t wait to come here again! ❤️

Sushi is pretty great for the price. Love coming here everytime I get a craving for it. The tempura shrimp is also on point. Never really grab anything else.

Best place to eat Sushi. Food is brought out constantly and it is allways kept hot. The Sushi bar is made fresh in front of you and they offer a wide selection to choose from. They also offer a stir fry station in which they cook beef, chicken and shrimp with vegetables to order. All the waitress are very nice and attentive. And the best off all is that it is a buffet and for a reasonable price. So if you are a Sushi lover as we are you need to visit this place.

We had a good experience, customer service is good, waitress was very attentive, restaurant is clean. The food is good, fresh, but the rolls not as tasty as I expected to be, they were fresh, but not what I was expecting more flavor on it and most of them about the same type. We went during lunch hr, maybe that makes a difference. But is a restaurant buffet that I won’t go back. I felt it was just like another Chinese buffet. Maybe dinner time has more variety

Delicious! Lovely lunch date. Tons of shrimp cocktail and salmon nigiri. The tempura vegetables were fresh and the deserts were better than most buffets. Will return ASAP!

The food is okay. Your typical Chinese buffet with Sushi options. The draw is the crab legs during Dinner. DO NOT expect this to be a Japanese Buffet. The food is actually mostly Chinese. The Sushi is maybe fresh but not that good tasting. They are kinda warm. There is no Sashimi. The Chinese food is fine. Tastes average.Lunch is 11 bucks more or less, Dinner is 22

Have been going to Shinju for 20 years since it was Taipei Gourmet it's still owned by the same people and quality of the food is excellent. Now it is presented as a Japanese Buffet but still has a lot of good Chinese hot dishes and a decent dessert bar. In addition to a wide variety of sushi rolls during lunch and sashimi at dinner time, there is a Mongolian BBQ so you can pick what ingredients you want me to cook it for you to order. Remember to choose what size you want and whether or not you want garlic added or not.

Super nice place!...Above your regular asian style buffet. 🍣 is good..and the rest of the menu, including teriyaki is also great. It's quiet, clean and staff is friendly. You can enjoy a variety of food whitou breaking your bank or your diet.Love it!

My family and I went on a Saturday night. Saturday nights are $23.99 per person. We got seated within 5 minutes even though it was packed. There is plenty to choose from. There is a Sushi station which has all the sushi rolls you can think of. There is also sashimi which is pretty fresh. Saturdays they have crab claws thats why I only go on the weekends. It also has oyster, shrimps and mussels. To the left of the restaurant is a hot food station with variety of soups which includes Miso, Hot & Sour and Egg drip soup. What I love most is the Hibachi station. They offer steak, chicken and shrimp and you can get veggies with your meat. Overall I think this is one of the best buffets down South.

Good place to eat sushi. But doesn't have a big variety lunch. Just had 3 fish sushi. Lots of rolls though. Lots of Chinese food. Big variety. Has a great hibachi steak, chicken, shrimp etc .Prices are just like the other all you can eat sushi places in Miami.

Shinjuku is good as long as you know what to expect. It is an all you can eat buffet so quality suffers from this. Having said that it isn't bad. Service is good and food is fresh. I have been here many times and kids like coming here.

As buffets go, this is not bad. The sushi variety and selection was quite impressive. Service was quite friendly and efficient. Hot food selection was okay. A lot of fried foods. Dessert selection seemed good and my favorite was the lychees and green tea ice cream.

Good variety but the rolls are tasteless, so they have to improve a lot... POC has exact same price and is by far better

Excellent selection of very fresh sushi, sashimi and Japanese salads. The selection was not as extensive in the cooked items although the dessert table was excellent. There is also a stir fry, hot bar, teriyaki area with made to order dishes.Wait person's are very attentive and service is prompt. Was here for lunch. Noticed families with young children were seated on the other side of a partitioned space. Lunch prices were excellent, two adults with out drinks, under $25.Recommended!

Sushi buffet was ok for being a Chinese owned restaurant. Service (bringing drinks & picking up plates) was good. All in all it was good for the price.

We had a great time at this spot. We enjoyed the fantastic atmosphere and the menu. The staff members were very welcoming. I am glad we eventually decided to try this restaurant.

I love coming to Shinju! I tend to come during lunch hours and they are always busy but the turn around is quick so you rarely wait more than 5 minutes for a table. I love that you are in and out. The staff is super sweet and I can honestly say, I’ve never had a bad experience here. I love the sushi. It is fresh and prepared right in front of you. Same goes for the hibatchi. The other food is always hot under these lamps. The booths are comfy. On the weekends, when there is a lot more people, there may tend to be a wait and the prices are a little bit more expensive. If you want a calmer experience, I recommend going for lunch and it’s much cheaper. I would just say that some of the sushi is different during lunch and dinner from what I’ve noticed but both are amazing! I love Shinju and will keep coming. I wonder if they have noticed I’ve come 2-3 times in the same week before. Haha.

Amazing experience. Server could tell I was having trouble opening the crab legs, she brought me a utensil and a sauce that would go well with the crab. She taught me how to open them. Felt very comfortable, clean place. Will come back soon
